HAROLD GADWA
Harold Swampy-Gadwa is a Plains Cree from both Kehewin and Samson Muskwacis Cree Nations.
He’s been dancing at powwows for over 22 years and represents his nations proudly throughout North America. He has won championships in both the Men’s Grass and Men’s Chicken categories, as well as Men’s Switch dance in both Women’s Jingle and Women’s Fancy.
A skilled quill worker, Harold is a future alumni of the Institute of American Indian Arts Academy in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He follows his Cree culture and continues to learn every day. Harold lives the traditional way of life and will continue to teach his peers for generations to come.
