Nyanza is Mi’kmaw/Scottish/English.

Kwe, I am a 24 year old Mi’kmaw woman from the East Coast of Canada, and a student at Mount Saint Vincent University.

I was born in Truro and raised on the Millbrook First Nation Reserve. From a young age, I have been focused on gaining knowledge on my culture and accepting the idea of life-long learning. While doing so, I have experienced the most beautiful healing experiences and for that I am grateful.
