My First Blackfoot Word Book is a heartfelt exploration of the Blackfoot language, passed down through generations of oral tradition. Growing up on the Kainai (Blood) reservation, I was blessed to hear Blackfoot spoken daily by my late grandparents, Leona and Glen Eaglespeaker—especially when I was in trouble, of course!
